LIGHT UP VANUATU CAMPAIGN
In partnership with SchoolAid and SolarBuddy, IPSHA is thrilled to announce the launch of Light Up Vanuatu campaign.
The goal of this campaign is to facilitate the reduction of extreme energy poverty in our pacific island neighbour through the involvement of IPSHA member schools. Once funds have been raised by the school, SolarBuddy solar lights will be purchased, and students will have the opportunity to take a ‘hands on’ approach by assembling solar lights, writing letters of encouragement and gifting them to children in Vanuatu living in extreme energy poverty. The solar lights will enable the children to continue with their schoolwork after dusk. With a lifespan of more than 10 years, one solar light provides one student with clean, reliable and safe light throughout the duration of their crucial schooling years.
